Even the most optimistic person is going to run into trouble. It is a part of life. Sometimes things do not go as planned or maybe you have to deal with a person that drains you. Maybe a big project or opportunity did not work out.

He shares two key traits that help us embrace happiness, especially when difficult things pop up.

You can also choose to be happy about a past situation. You have the power to change the script. It does not change the actual event but it changes what you decide to take from the experience.

Happiness is not a destination, it’s a choice!
